Azores Rallye 56th edition, organization of Grupo Desportivo e Comercial on the road between 25 and 27 March, has its main characteristics defined. The rally, second round of FIA ERC and Portuguese championships and opening event on Azorean championship and Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup, will a total of around 590 km, 35% of which on special stages.
The event, to be run on São Miguel island, will feature some changes to comply with changes introduced by the international federation on the European Rally Championship regulations as well as in order to satisfy the needs of the new and incremented media scheme delivered by WRC Promoter, entity that manages the competition from this season.
Azores Rallye shall have again its operational center at Portas do Mar in the downtown of Ponta Delgada, city that hosts one of the major events in Azores and one of the major promoters of the Azorean touristic destination.
