The cars, coming from outside the archipelago, which will participate in the 57th Azores Rallye were shipped today to the island of São Miguel. The transport of the competition cars and other vehicles to support the teams takes place in a conventional cargo ship and the landing in Ponta Delgada is scheduled for early next week in an occasion that is not usually missed by fans of the sport.
This transport is in charge of Transinsular, a shipping company which has long been an important partner and with a very valuable contribution to regional motor racing. The cars that will delight the many spectators waiting at the edges of the iconic Azorean special stages will come on the company’s Monte Brasil ship from Leixões.
