Today is the end of the entry period for the 56th Azores Rallye, organized by Grupo Desportivo e Comercial, which will be, between March 25 and 27, the second event for the European and Portuguese championships. This event, which will also be the opening race for the Azorean specialty championship, the regional gravel trophy and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian Cup, has been well attended by competitors and has already guaranteed great sporting interest.
The Azores Rallye has several changes this year and will be on the road from Friday to Sunday. On the first day will take place the Qualifying and Shakedown in Lagoa Stage but the first leg will be on Saturday with a double round through Coroa da Mata, Graminhais and Tronqueira and also a passage through Grupo Marques. The second and last leg takes place on Sunday with two evolutions through Ribeira Grande, Feteiras and Sete Cidades and yet another race at Grupo Marques.
