Luis Vilariño, driving a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, will be the first driver to start the 56th Azores Rallye, organized by Grupo Desportivo e Comercial, which will take place next Saturday and Sunday. The drivers who took part in the Qualifying Stage, held this afternoon at the Lagoa Stage, chose their starting order for the event that takes place on the island of São Miguel and, given the weather forecasts, their choices were quite conservative.
Right behind Vilariño will be Ricardo Teodósio, followed by Simone Tempestini, Alberto Battistoli, Javier Pardo, Ken Torn, Ricardo Moura, Simon Wagner, Simone Campedelli, Armindo Araújo, Norbert Herczig, Efren Llarena, Bruno Magalhães, Rúben Rodrigues, Miguel Correia, Luis Miguel Rego, Pedro Almeida, Paulo Nobre, José Pedro Fontes, Lukasz Kotarba, Pedro Cãmara, Aloísio Monteiro and Rachele Somaschini.
