São Miguel Rallye 2020: all the emotions of the past, on 21st century technology

The SIM Racing section of Grupo Desportivo Comercial launches another challenge to motorsport fans, in particular of those who likes rallying, by launching a virtual version of the São Miguel Rally, an e-rally to be held between 22 and 28 June , using the game DiRT Rally 2.0, on PC (STEAM), Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.

After the success of Azores Virtual Rally, now is the time to remember the old rear-wheel drive machines, with all their predicates, and challenge players to experience the rallies that were ran in the 80’s, both on machines – where it will be possible to drive the Datsun 240Z, the Lancia Stratos, the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 or the Renault 5 Turbo, among others – as well as old special stages used in previous versions of the real São Miguel Rallye, such as Monte Escuro, Santo António / Arribanas as well as the always iconic Sete Cidades and Tronqueira.

For this, the SIM Racing section of Grupo Desportivo Comercial invite you all to go on a journey to Wales where the layout, type of surface and weather conditions will reproduce rallying on those special stages on rainy and foggy days.
