Rachele Somaschini will be the only lady behind the wheel of a racing car at the 56th Azores Rallye. “”I am very happy to be able to contest Rally Azores. Last year, when I came for the first time, I was impressed by the beauty of the island – reality overcame expectations – and by the smiling and friendly people. I receveid an incredibly warm welcome that touched my heart deeply. Stages are great and very demanding, I hope to be luckier than last year, when I could contest just one leg due to an issue with wipers on the very first stage. I can’t wait to start!”
