THE BEST POSSIBLE CLASSIFICATION

Pedro Câmara starts the Azores Rallye with a Citroën C3 Rally2 and his goal is “the best possible classification as this will be the first championship that we will do entirety. We are not yet the fastest team because we do not have as many kilometres as our opponents.Basically, this will be a test rally. On Saturday, we will be focused on the championship, and then, on Sunday, we will try new solutions in our car, with which we want to get more in tune. Being able to line up in the Azores Rallye in these conditions is the fulfilment of a dream and now we just need to be able to do it as fast as possible. That will come with time. However, I am confident and I feel we are well prepared.”
Pedro Câmara is 41 years old and took his first steps in the sport in 2001 with a Lancia Delta HF Turbo. He used this car for the two following years and between 2004 and 2006 he drove a Toyota Celica Turbo 4wd. In 2008 and 2009 he drove a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII and then took a break in his career. He returned in 2018 with a Skoda Fabia TDi and in the two following seasons he crewed Citroën Saxo and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV. At the beginning of 2021 he did a race with a Porsche 997 GT3 and at the end of the year he moved on to the current Citroën C3 Rally2.
