As part of the certification of environmental sustainability of the races organized by the club, Grupo Desportivo Comercial carried out a tree planting action before the 57th Azores Rally went on the road. On the occasion and under the guidance of Aida Ferreira, members of the board of the organizing club and elements of the Tour European Rally Series and the Portuguese Car and Karting Federation were in the Chã da Macela Recreational Forest Reserve, planting about three dozen trees, helping to reduce the environmental footprint of the event.
