AZORES RALLYE REGULATIONS PUBLISHED

The Portuguese Car and Karting Federation, after the consent of the FIA, has published the supplementary regulations for the 57th edition of the Azores Rallye, as well as the addenda related to the Azores Rally Championship and Azores Gravel Rally Trophy. The organization of the Grupo Desportivo Comercial will have a total length of 442.80 km, 107.42 of which will body the 12 special stages of the programme, meeting the limits established by the application for the national championship of 2024.
The rally will be held on the island of São Miguel over three days, from 30 March to 1 April. On Thursday, the administrative checks and scrutineering will take place as well as the presentation ceremony of the teams, which will take place in downtown Ponta Delgada. The competition itself will start on Friday, March 31, with the Qualifying Stage, which will determine the starting order for the first competitors, and the Shakedown.
The race start is scheduled for 13:00 that day, when the caravan will go through Feteiras and Sete Cidades twice, and evolve once in Grupo Marques.
Saturday, April 1, brings another double round but through Tronqueira, Graminhais and Ribeira Grande, interspersed by the second passage in Grupo Marques. The Azores Rallye will finish in the city of Ponta Delgada at 18:45. The headquarter of the event and the service park will be at Portas do Mar.
