CRUGNOLA WINS AGAIN IN THE TER SERIES

The Tour European Rally Series, competition which includes the Azores Rallye, saw its fourth race of the season completed this weekend. After the Azores, the series returned to Italy for the Rally Regione Piemonte, a rally with 8 stages on asphalt around the city of Alba, in the northwest of the country.
Frenchman Stephane Lefebvre led the rally in a Citroën C3 Rally2. However, the dispute in the last special stage revealed the winner, Andrea Crugnola, also driving a Citroën C3 Rally2. Crugnola, two-time Italian champion in this discipline, after his victory in Rally Terra Valle del Tevere, became the first driver to win a second time in this series in 2023.
On the podium was also Fabio Andolfi at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. In the next positions were Hayden Paddon in a Hyundai i20N Rally2, Matthieu Arzendo with Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo and Alberto dall’Era in a VW Polo GTi R5. The next event of the TER Series is the Rallye Antibes Cote d’Azur, to be held in France between 10 and 12 May.
