Sebastien Loeb, driving a Skoda Faia RS Rally2, won the 57th Azores Rallye, a stage of the Tour European Rally Series and Azorean Rally Championship which took place this weekend in São Miguel Island. In second place in the Grupo Desportivo Comercial organisation was Andreas Mikkelsen, in an identical car, who lost some time in the second leg due to a touch.
In the lowest place of the podium will be the Spaniard Nil Solans with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo after a second day of competition all attacked and which allowed him to overcome three opponents. The fourth place was held by Ole Christian Veiby, who had finished the first leg in third place. The best national and Azorean competitor was Ricardo Moura, fifth in his return to the competition.
